I
wanted to take a minute to send you a note about 2 of Silverthorne’s
employees that my husband and I have been in contact with as we were
looking to build a new home in the Carmel area in Aberdeen Bend. We
spent several months working with Michelle and Pam to get pricing,
designs, and custom modifications to the Vail model. Throughout the
process they were both very attentive to detail and very responsive
to our requests and request modifications. They had many
suggestions and ideas and we were even able to walk through a
homeowner’s completed house that was similar to what we were
considering in order to visually see what we had been discussing on
paper. We felt Michelle and Pam were professional, knowledgeable
and friendly and we felt very comfortable working with them
throughout the design process. We never felt pressured, or
“nickeled and dimed”. We would highly recommend your company as
well as Michelle and Pam to anyone we come across that is looking to
build a home.
I too am in Sales, and I find it
refreshing when I am working with another sales person – unrelated
to business - and I am treated with the respect and integrity with
which I treat my customers. All too often, sales people forget what
their real job is, to go above and beyond to satisfy the customer
making the purchase so that they have an excellent customer
experience and would either be a repeat customer or be a referral
for other customers. Michelle and Pam have not forgotten that and I
wish them and Silverthorne many successes in the coming years.
As a Director of Government Affairs
for the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis, I am very
familiar with the BAGI Quality Assurance Builder Standards Program,
which sets the industry standards for residential construction in
Indiana, Illinois, as well as Kentucky. I have worked in the
residential construction industry for over seven years dealing with
building regulations and codes. During this time I have also had
the opportunity to get to know the people who make up Silverthorne
Homes, LLC.
The reason I tell you this is because,
my wife and I have recently decided to build a home with
Silverthorne. I would like to go on record as saying that I
believe Silverthorne exceeds the industry standards. I am very
comfortable with the choice that my wife and I have made.
Silverthorne Homes has innovative floor plans which include; ranch
and two story homes with, hearth rooms, home management centers,
sunken living rooms, two story entryways, first floor masters and
many other features. One of the hardest decisions for us was
choosing from the wide variety of elevations available for our floor
plan. All homes are available with hip roofs, front porches, bay
windows and side load garages to name just a few.
As you can see we are very excited to
be moving into a Silverthorne Home and I would recommend
Silverthorne to all our friends and family. I would also recommend
a Silverthorne Community to you. Their commitment to a quality
product is evident in everything they do.
 Having
heard the horror stories of how things can go wrong in building a
new house we were preparing ourselves for the worst! Here we were
two women, mother & daughter, who knew little if anything about
building a house, wondering if we would survive the 6 months ahead
of us.
Then along
came Andy Fancher, and our concerns evaporated away. Andy was our
construction liaison, and upon meeting him we knew things would be
okay. Andy’s professionalism, knowledge of the construction
process, and especially his caring about the customer made our
construction experience a positive one.
He would take
the time to explain why something was being done a certain way. He
listened when we voiced a concern or suggested that this small
change would be helpful and appreciated. He wanted to know if we
were unhappy with the work of a subcontractor because he too wanted
things done correctly.
When an issue
did pop up we were able to discuss the issue and find the solution
that met our approval. It is obvious that Andy takes pride in his
work, and he understands how important it is to be aware of the
customer’s needs. Andy is an asset to Silverthorne Homes and the
people who have been fortunate in having him build their new home.
